People should know this about excellence
Reminders that only life teaches or if you are too serious to learn, you learn from others
Raw and Real Conversation
It is not easy to do excellent work.
If something requires you to do your 100% and you give your 80%, you will still coast through. Most people won’t even notice.
But the last 20% is where the magic happens. The final 20% is where you create opportunities for yourself to do anything you wish to lay your hand on. The final 20% is where you bring magic from the invisible to the visible.
Most people may not notice the 20% effort you put in, that you could have lived without anyway. But that doesn’t matter, because that effort was not for them anyway. That effort was for you, the person in the mirror, the person who smiles at the mirror with dignity and peace.
First 80% is goodness, final 20% is greatness.
First 80% is a task, final 20% is your signature.
First 80% is for majority, final 20% is for the anomaly.
First 80% may get you a job interview, final 20% will get you multiple job offers to choose from.
First 80% is meandering to mediocrity, final 20% is highway to heaven.
First 80% is easy, final 20% tests your patience.
First 80% is for the world to see, final 20% is for you to witness.
First 80% is pleasure, final 20% is power.
First 80% is influencing others, final 20% is impressing (or maybe, a commitment to) yourself.
First 80% takes only 50% of the time, final 20% takes 50% of the time.
First 80% is what gets your foot in the door, final 20% is what gets you on stage.
And here is something that will make sense only on the weekends:
80% people work on the weekends thinking they are working hard. 20% that don’t work on the weekends and spend time recharging (reading, walking, thinking, doing granny hobbies) are the ones that truly go on to do big things.
Sonnet of the Week
(Tell me, would you like more of sonnets?)
Title: What is a girl’s fault?
If she is insecure,
doesn’t mean she needs a cure
She just wants to feel safe
Which made you chafe?!!
A girl is fierce and stronger than a man
She hides it often to let a man feel like a man
She doesn’t call out your insecurity
but she knows it all
Doesn’t put your pain as impurity
coz she never go down such a fall
A girl’s fault is that she expects love
From men that listen to goodness to shove
A girl’s fault is she is not a man
One day to figure that was part of a divine plan
